A Rishon Lezion soldier boarded the bus of Afikim company, but recalled, he claimed, that he forgot his certificate in the trunk. When he was laying at the bottom of the trunk to remove the document from his briefcase, the bus driver suddenly closed the tailgate on his legs and began driving.

The law suit, filed by Attorney Lital Biever-Chaikin in the name of the soldier against the company 'Afikim' the owners of the bus and against an insurance company which secured the bus - alleges that the head and much of the body of the soldier remained in the trunk for about half a minute, until the passengers remarked to the driver that they heard knocking and shouting from the floor of the bus, called the driver to pull over, and saved the life of the soldier.

According to Attorney Biever-Chaikin, as a result of the accident the soldier suffered bruises in his legs, redness, bruising and abrasions. Once the claim was filed, the parties reached a compromise out of court, in which the young man will receive compensation of thousands of shekels, and retract the claim.
