Panic in South: 3 infiltrators from Gaza were captured

This morning a state of emergency was declared in some southern towns after several figures were observed fleeing from Gaza to Israel

After hours of uncertainty, three infiltrators from the Gaza Strip were captured when they are unarmed.

This morning (Saturday) a state of emergency was declared in some communities in southern Eshkol Regional Council, after under the fog which prevailed - several Arabs were able to infiltrate from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.

According to initial reports, four figures crossed the security fence in the Gaza Strip, the IDF searched the area extensively. During these searches, the army ordered residents of several villages in the area to shut themselves at home and erected checkpoints on the road 232 from the intersection Tzohar southwards.

The three suspects were arrested in the greenhouses of Gush Tzohar, unarmed, they were interrogated by the Shin Bet security service.

Interrogation revealed that they fled from the Gaza Strip following the difficult economic situation, and were looking for food. "We are tired of being there," they said.
