Ben Gurion Airport disaster: a 54-year-old Haredi man who came from Manchester, England - collapsed and died.
In the evening, a Haredi Jew from England collapsed in sleeve of the plane at Ben Gurion airport, and lost consciousness. After resuscitation attempts, he was pronounced dead.
"He was with his wife and three children," said Shmuel Segal, commander of ZAKA in Modi'in Illit. Magen David Adom crews performed CPR on him with ZAKA volunteers, "while performing CPR on the father, we tried to reassure his family members who were in a panic", but after a while doctor was forced to confirm his death.
"Soon we ensure together with the legal department of the organization, a concession of an autopsy, and now I'm on the way with the body to Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak, in order to accommodate the body of the deceased in the refrigerator until the time of the funeral," said Segal.
This is a Maggid Shiur of in Manchester, who came with his family for a 10-day visit to Israel.
