Chavrusa of the Baba Sali zt"l

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: in Jerusalem died this evening (Monday), at a ripe old, a descendent of kedoshim, Hagaon Rabbi Nissim Amsallem zt"l in Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem. He was 97 years old.
Last night he felt unwell, rescue forces were called to him home and after unsuccessful resuscitation, he returned his soul to its Creator.
Hatzaddik Rabbi Nissim Amsellem zt"l was the brother in law and chavrusa of the Sidna Baba Sali, Rabbi Israel Abuchatzeira zt"l and was known as a great miracle worker.
Many sought him out. He sat all day and read Tehillim, sharing the sorrow of the Jewish nation.
A special chapter in his life was his help to each and every individual who approached him and found a cure by him, both by providing economic aid and genuine sharing of joys and sorrows.
Rabbi Amsalem zt"l is survived by his sons and sons-in-law, and dozens of descendants who continue the spiritual way he bequeathed.
The funeral procession will leave today (Tuesday), we will continue and update.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
