From France to Israel: Rabbi Daniel Heyman on a visit

Yesterday (Sunday) evening Hagaon Rabbi Daniel Heiman, Rabbi of the Mekor Yisrael Community in France, Rosh Yeshiva of Afine and one of Gedolei Yisroel in Europe, landed for a speed visit to Israel.
There was great excitement among his students in Israel, alumni and members of the Mekor Yisroel community, on the occasion of the rare visit by Hgr"d Hyman. Hgr"d Heymann, who heads the Afine Yeshiva, many of whose graduates live in Israel, rarely comes to Israel because of his age and the many tasks he has in the community in France.
Last night Hgr"d arrived for a several-day visit, following the wedding of his eldest granddaughter. During his visit, he shall give sichos and shiurim to his many students throughout the country.
Just recently another yeshiva was established in Jerusalem, which serves as a branch of the yeshiva in France, headed by his son Hagaon Rabbi Binyamin Hyman, and Hgr"d serves as president and guide for the yeshiva.
During the visit, Hgr"d will visit the new yeshiva and will give a festive shiur to which many of the students, in the past and present, look forward.
Behadrey Haredim learned that despite the fact that Rabbi Hyman rarely goes out to visit Gedolei Yisroel, Hagr"d is still expected to visit with some of them, and he will return to his community in France on Thursday.
