Threats to the Jews: eight Jewish schools across the UK received yesterday (Sunday), false messages about a bomb placed on the school grounds, as reported a local Jewish organization.

Managers of Jewish institutions received a phone call in which there was a recorded message on Arabic background music, which said that the school was going to explode soon because of a bomb placed in it.

Managers of the institutions took seriously the calls and called the police. The latter jumped in the combat hate crimes unit to schools which received the warning.

After a thorough investigation it became clear that it was false panic.

London police spokesman acknowledged that the schools actually received yesterday a false message about a bomb placed, and all schools have been extensively checked, but no traces of bomb were found.

The police decided that no Jewish schools will send the children home following the false alarms received, but they will enforce the security around the school.

Last week, other schools received false bomb alerts, and last month, schools in different areas around London, also evacuated children from the building following the false alarms received.

According to the CST Organization, in 2015 924 anti-Semitic incidents were recorded, including physical and verbal attacks, graffiti and anti-Semitic threats.
