Survivor of the attack in Givat Ze'ev, reconstructed from his sickbed in the hospital the moments of terror, and the miracle that occurred with him. "I was very lucky, thank G-d," he says.
Survivor of the attack in Givat Ze'ev, Mendi Rivkin, held a press conference and said: "I feel much better each day, sustained and stronger more and more, I was very lucky, thank G-d, every day that passes is like a ladder, I climb a stage and the next stage is much higher".
About the moments of the attack he said: "I went out with my wife, suddenly felt a shoulder injury, deflated, I told my wife I was stabbed twice, I went to a store, trying to push my wife along with me, with half a pitch I managed to take off my jacket, lie down on it, it was cold, cat back, and I feel that the air is emptied out, and life begins to melt away."
"Within a few minutes the best people you will ever get arrived, that a man could dream of, in such situations. 4 paramedics, Hatzalah personnel, Ichud Hatzalah, the best people I could get. Ambulance drivers, he was functioning at that moment as if he were in my place. I had a wonderful personal supervision.
"Once I realized it was an attack, I thought focused thoughts, sharp as a razor, in one moment I understood what needs to be done, I am very concentrated, leaving other thoughts to myself. I remember arriving at an amazing speed at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, I got an amazing and exceptional treatment."

Rivkin referred to the fact that he is a resident of Givat Ze'ev and said: "The feelings are a little difficult at first, later I will probably, nothing would scare me, I'm not afraid of terrorism, we will move on and win.
"My message to the government is, the Lubavitcher Rebbe said the mere talk about handing back of land, causes mortal danger to Jews, we should not speak in any way about handing over territory, we must understand that it did damage to so many thousands who did not have the privilege to get to a press conference. This land is ours, we received that gift from G-d, we need to eradicate terrorism in the toughest way there is."
Rivkin who was stabbed in Givat Ze'ev, was treated and evacuated in serious condition. The terrorist who carried out the attack, a resident of the nearby Bir Nabala, was neutralized and captured.
