At the end of Shabbos: 17 years old slightly injured in stabbing attack at Damascus Gate

Shortly before the end of Shabbat, at 17:35, there was a stabbing attack near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem.
A 17 year-old young Jew was stabbed in the back by two terrorists and was slightly injured. The terrorists, apparently minors, fled.
Initial questioning indicated that two young Jews came from the Western Wall through the Damascus Gate, when they reached the steps they were attacked by two Arab minors of 16. One young Jews was stabbed in the back and taken by Magen David Adom ambulance in slight condition for medical treatment, the other they had not been able to stab and he ran into Damascus Gate and called policemen.
The minor terrorists fled the scene. Their description was circulated among policemen who are conducting an extensive search to locate them.
Paramedics and MDA paramedics gave first aid to the wounded man of about 17, and took him to Hadassah Hospital when his condition is defined light.
During the search, two suspects Arab residents of East Jerusalem were detained, and were transferred to the David district station to clarify their involvement in the incident. Searches are continuing.

MDA paramedic Nati Heron who treated and evacuated the wounded man said: "When we got there we saw a boy of about 17 in full consciousness, he walked and received initial assistance of the police officers who were there, we put him in an intensive care ambulance and evacuated him to the hospital where he received medical treatment, his condition is defined light".
Nahum Bernstein, deputy head of the Jerusalem branch of Ichud Hatzalah said: "Close to the end of Shabbos, it was reported of a stabbing attack in Damascus gate, I was in the Mea Shearim neighborhood nearby and when I got to the scene I came across a young man who was stabbed in the upper body and was fully conscious. With the assistance of other volunteers from Hatzalah's motorcycle unit, we gave him first aid and then he was taken to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus. Passersby said that he was stabbed by a young Arab man fleeing the scene. Large police forces arrived at the scene and began to scan for him."
