Good news: the condition of the wounded in the stabbing attack at Givat Zeev stabilized during the night, Shaare Zedek Medical Center said this morning (Thursday). However, his condition remains serious. The family are asking the public to pray for him.
The wounded, Mendi Rivkin, was evacuated yesterday (Wednesday) to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in critical condition with severe left chest and hemorrhaging, he underwent surgery and was hospitalized at the intensive care unit, and is still sedated and on a respirator.
A senior doctor at the hospital updated the family that "He had a pulmonary artery injury. He lost a lot of blood, and we were able to control the bleeding, and he was given blood transfusion. He's still sedated, but as a whole you could say that the condition has stabilized, the lung was not hurt.
