Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot ordered tonight (Thursday) to check the source of the weapons at a wedding where boys were filmed waving guns. Members of the Military Police and Israel Police will check if the source is the IDF.
So too, by his orders, members of the Military Police will check if soldiers attended the event.
Meanwhile, SJ Police opened an investigation into suspected offenses of incitement and other offenses following the wedding video. The investigation was entrusted to the national crime unit of the Central Unit of SJ District.
Attorney Itamar Ben Gvir, representing one of the detainees in the Duma affair, who attended the wedding said: "I saw them dancing, I thought they were holding pictures of detainees and not Dawabshe, only then did I realize they were holding pictures of the family and I was embarrassed. Some stupid kids doing something silly. Then I reprimanded them.
"You have to take things in proportion", he said, there are some children who do things without thinking and intellect, one shouldn't generalize all of the 'hilltop youth'".
Mothers of the detainees are voicing strong condemnation of what appears on a video of a wedding in Jerusalem: "This act is invalid, we do not justify it in any way, it does not reflect our boys, it's not smart, not right and certainly wrong. If we would have been at the wedding we would have stopped it. We knew this video is about to go out, this is an act of the ISA to delegitimize our struggle."
