Nasrallah threatens to "avenge Kuntar"

Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, spoke this evening (Monday) in a special broadcast after the funeral of Samir Kuntar, and blamed Israel for the assassination.
"There is no doubt that Israel was behind the operation," he said. "Israeli planes fired accurate missiles at a residential building in which Kuntar and others were, hit the building and killed him along with a number of Syrian officers and civilians."
Nasrallah spoke on giant screens at Dahiyeh, the organization's stronghold in Beirut, after the mass funeral of the assassinated terrorist. "His death," he said, "is a loss to all Muslims in the world, and a great loss to the Lebanese resistance."
"Kuntar was our brother," he continued, "He attended the Lebanese resistance from day one and was responsible and had a significant role for 33 years, he was a personal friend of mine since 1977, a school friend and accompanied me throughout the way. I share in the sorrow of relatives and family and may Allah dwell him in the garden of Eden".
Nasrallah added: "They say the shooting was from Israel, and there was no penetration to Syria, but it does not matter, because Israel killed innocent people. The fact that the Free Syrian Army claimed responsibility for the assassination is silly talk that have no basis in reality. They just prove that they are working for Israel".
Nasrallah ended the threat "we will respond wherever and whenever the time seems right. Tonight I say to the enemy, the martyr Samir Kuntar was one of us and our commander, we have the right to respond to the killing at the place, time and the way we think right and we will realize this right."
