Arab Knesset member at the Gedolim of Bnei Brak

The rabbis will decide on qadis: MK Issawi Freij of Meretz came tonight (Tuesday), for a visit to the city's rabbis in Bnei Brak, to try to remove the opposition of haredi parties to appoint women as Qadis in the Muslim sector.

The MK and the Rabbi spoke about the security situation and relations between Jews and Arabs.

Rabbi Baadani suggested: "One should hold a meeting with the President of the Council of Torah Sages Hagaon R' Shalom Cohen and other rabbis, in order to calm the situation between Arabs and Jews."
