Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: on Saturday morning Rabbi Nehemiah Citron zt"l, principal of the Ohr Hachaim Seminary in Bnei Brak, passed away suddenly at the age of 87 his death.
The deceased did not feel well and collapsed. Rescue teams were called to his home in Bnei Brak on Nehemiah street – and had to confirm his death.
The deceased was of the first group of elite yeshiva students at Ponivezh founded by Hagaon Rav Kahanman zt"l, and was beloved on his teachers, rabbis and roshei yeshiva of all generations, throughout the years.
Throughout his life he devoted himself to the public and in the past he managed for many years the Ohr Hachaim Seminary for Sephardic girls in Bnei Brak.
He was a veteran of the Lederman shull near his home, where he fixed his prayers for decades.
His funeral will be held tonight (Saturday night) in Bnei Brak.
