Casualty of attack in Beersheba: Sergeant Omri Levy H.Y.D.

Cleared for publication: the name of the soldier who was killed last night (Sunday) in the attack in Beersheba.

The IDF Spokesman said that the soldier who was killed in an attack in Beersheba is sergeant Omri Levy, 19, of Sde Hemed.

Corporal Omri Levy was promoted to sergeant after his death. His family has been notified.

Meanwhile, at the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, a citizen from Eritrea in his 20s, who was accidently suspected as a terrorist, died of his wounds.

He was shot by a security officer of the Central Station, and then violently attacked by a angry mob.

At the hospital three wounded are undergoing surgery, two of them in critical condition, another wounded in a very serious condition in the intensive care ward. Another casualty is hospitalized at the surgical ward for observation. Others are treated in the emergency room. 26 injured were released to their homes.
