After 23 years: Argentine court issued arrest warrants against two suspects in the brutal attack at the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires.
After intelligence was received from Israel, the Argentina Court issued two arrest warrants against those suspected of involvement in the Israeli embassy building in Buenos Aires in March 1992, killing 29 people, most of them were not Israelis.
The suspects are: Hezbollah activist Hussein Mohammed Ibrahim Suleiman and Hezbollah activist Jose Celan al-Rida. They were inspired and helped by Iran.
As recalled, the attack in Buenos Aires Jewish community was also inspired by Iran and executed in 1994. The investigation of this attack was making significant progress, but it was halted after the prosecutor who investigated the incident, Alberto Nissmann, was murdered.
