During the festival: rocket attack on Gaza Envelope

Air Force aircraft attacked the Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire from Gaza.

Two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip during Yom Tov at Israel's southern communities. Last night, at approximately 23:00, a "Red" alert was sounded in a number of communities surrounding Gaza. It turned out that the rocket which had been fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip landed in an open area is the Eshkol Regional Council, and there were no injuries or damage.

In addition, a few minutes later another rocket launch was carried out at Israel, but the rocket exploded near the perimeter fence.

Security forces searched the area and in the morning located the rocket which exploded in an agricultural area.

The IDF spokesman said that the attack came in response to IOF and mortars attacks on the territory of the State of Israel, a terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip was damaged.
