A shooting leak once again on the Syrian front: Shortly before the end of the Shabbat, a mortar shell has been identified which hit an open area in the northern Golan Heights. The IDF believes that the leakage came from internal fighting in Syria.

An alarm was not activated because of it falling in an open area. There were no casualties or damage. Beforehand there had been explosive sounds in the Galilee panhandle, also from the fighting in Syria.

A month ago, on 6th Elul, four 107mm rockets were fired from Quneitra towards northern Israel, two exploded in the Golan Heights and the Galilee panhandle, two. In response Israel attacked targets deep inside Syria.
