Mourning in Brisk: Rebbetzin Elka Menucha Soloveichik a"h

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: in Jerusalem Rebbetzin Elka Menucha Soloveichik a"h, the wife of Hagaon Rabbi Refael Halevi Soloveichik, passed away suddenly this morning (Monday) after cardiac arrest at her home in Neve Zvi at the age of 55 at her demise.

She was born on 8th Iyar 5720 (1960) to her father Hagaon Rabbi Israel Meir Pertzowitz and her mother Mrs. Esther a"h., She got married to her husband Hagaon Rabbi Refael Halevi Soloveichik, son of Hagaon Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveichik Rosh Yeshivas Brisk zt"l.

She had a position as director of principal of the Brisk school for girls 'Mesilas Yesharim' on Yisa Bracha street in Jerusalem.

The Rebbetzin a"h helped her husband Rabbi Refael Halevi, who is called by members of Brisk "Rafael Aricha", throughout the years, so that he could pursue the study of Torah.

She was a special personality and educated the daughters of Israel for their Father in Heaven. For years, she designed the educational institution, so that its character will be appropriate to Brisk.

She is survived by a dor yeshorim mevorach – sons and sons in law who continue her way.

The funeral will leave this afternoon at 12:30 from her home on Aharon Fishel Street in Jerusalem, to the Mount of Rest where she will be buried.

May her soul be bound in the bond of life.
