Hundreds of residents participated in Boro Park, Brooklyn, in Hachnasa Sefer Torah to the Beis Midrash of Balad led by Hatzaddik Av Beis Din of Balad.
The Sefer Torah was written by the Av Beis Din in memory of his father the Rebbe of Balad of blessed memory.
Hundreds of worshipers at the Beit Midrash attended the ceremony. The siyum of writing the letters was held at the home of the Av Beis Din with the participation of Rebbes.
At the Seudas Mitzvah which was held at the Anshei Sphard hall, rabbis of the community spoke. The Av Beis Din of Balad gave the main speech.
