Incitement in influential British newspaper: "ultra-Orthodox teach all non-Jews are evil"

London: an influential newspaper 'The Independent', refers this morning to the Satmar community in Stamford Hill and claims: "The ultra-Orthodox educate their children from the age of three that non-Jews are evil."

Titled: "teaching three year olds that non-Jews are evil in school worksheets", the paper says that "A worksheet distributed in ultra-Orthodox Jewish schools in North London, referring to the events of the Holocaust, said the non-Jews are all bad."

The worksheets were transferred to the paper by an internal factor, and included a worksheet distributed to the kindergarten Beis Rachel of Satmar, on the rescue day of the Divrei Joel.

"The document refers to Nazis only as "goyim"," says the paper.

Emily Greene, a Jewish girl who previously learned at the school, and became non-religious, told the newspaper that, "It's not uncommon that they teach that non-Jews are bad people in Haredi schools. It's their entire ethos."

School spokesman responded that "there was no intention to generalize in the phrase Gentiles, and that attention will be paid to the matter and sheets will be corrected."
