During the air show in Brighton in southern England, a plane crashed and killed seven people. Another person was critically wounded and fourteen were injured lightly.
This is a "Hawker-Hunter" plane, similarly used by the Air Force of Great Britain in the 50's and early 60's, which hit during the fall several vehicles and burned down.
According to testimonies of people who watched the crash, the plane tried to make a "loop" in the air during an air show at Shoreham Airport in Sussex County - but the maneuver failed, crashed into the bushes and caught fire.
The aircraft model is considered one of the most successful British aircraft and served in the air forces of 17 different countries, including Britain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.
