Dayan of Vizhnitz-Monsey: Hagaon Rabbi Nissan Neiman zt"l

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: in Beit Shemesh, Hagaon Rabbi Nissan Neiman zt"l, Dayan of Viznitz-Monsey in Beit Shemesh and Dayan at the Eida Hareidis, passed away at the age of 50.

Over the past six months he was suffering from a cancerous disease and last night his condition deteriorated, and in the morning he returned his soul to its Creator.

Rabbi Nissan zt"l was born in the United States on 19th Iyar 5725 (1965) to his father Rabbi Gershon Neiman, Gabai at the great Beit Midrash of Vizhnitz and confidant of the Rebbe, and was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehoshua Warzberger of Jerusalem - known as a famous 'batim macher' (maker of tefillin boxes).

The deceased sat and studied all his life with tremendous hasmoda and did much to establish the institutions of Viznitz Monsey in Eretz Yisroel.

Three years ago, after much pleading, he agreed to be a Dayan of the Eida Hareidis in Beit Shemesh for the Viznitz Monsey community.

The funeral will leave at 12:30 pm from the Viznitz-Monsey Beis Midrash to the Viznitz cemetery in Bnei Brak where he will be buried.

May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
