Two young men were arrested in central Jerusalem, when they tried to pass through a protest held against the violence in Jerusalem.

Two brothers from Jerusalem as 14 and 15 were arrested a short time ago in downtown Jerusalem. The two were arrested while hanging out together with their mother in the city center.

According to the mother she went out tonight with her children to an ice cream parlor in town and when passing near a rally held in place her children were detained due to their religious appearance.

An attorney of the Chanenu organization is currently checking the reason for their detention and providing help for the family.

Earlier, Haredim who tried to pass tonight through Zion Square were blocked by a group of police who forbade them to approach the area.

According to the police, during the night, a young Jew was blocked, tried to run to the participants of the rally and was arrested.
