Last night a huge gathering was held in Bnei Brak – Hachnasas Sefer Torah and the Chanukas Habayis at the Yeshivas Ateret Shlomo, the crown of institutions headed by Rabbi Sholom Ber Sorotzkin.
Two Torah scrolls were written in memory of the great rabbis of the generation, Harav Elyashiv zt"l and Hgr"sh Vosner zt" l.
The letters were written and the procession went down the street from the previous yeshiva building on Maharshal Street towards the new building located on Chagay Street.
The main streets in the city were closed to traffic for hours and more than ten thousand people celebrated.
Head of the procession was attended by Hgray"l Steinman carrying the Sefer Torah in his car. After the Torah Scroll was placed into the yeshiva, Rabbanim gathered for a seuda at the Vagshal Hall.
