NY: Swastikas painted at Agudah camp

Staff at Camp Agudah Midwest in the US, were shocked yesterday (Sunday) morning to find swastikas painted in several places at the camp, on the entrance sign and cars.

Camp management was quick to call the police, which sent senior officials to the camp. The police met with the staff and questioned them, documenting graffiti which was then erased.

Agudag Camp met with local officials who promised to catch the criminals. Although police investigators collected the security tapes from the camp and adjacent buildings – with the hope of finding a record of the criminals on the security cameras, the assumption is that graffiti was sprayed on the night of Tisha B'Av.

The Camp Management immediately hired the services of a private security company for upgrading security. At the same time, police also promised to increase the patrols of the Camp area.

Relaxing letter sent to the children's parents by the Camp Management, the Camp said that they are doing everything to ensure the safety of children, and, accordingly, a private security company was hired that secures the Camp 24 hours.
