Closing of the yeshiva in Lucerne in Switzerland after more than sixty years - continues to be of interest in the Torah world.
In a letter sent by the management of yeshiva, it was written that the boys should remove their possessions, since the yeshiva buildings will be leased to a London yeshiva.
"Unfortunately, because the yeshiva gates are closed for now at the end of the summer session, and the yeshiva buildings are being leased for Bein Hazmanim to Metivta London yeshiva we inform you as follows:
1. Students may not stay here during these days, and all students without exception must leave the yeshiva until Monday 11th Av.
2. Students may not leave personal belongings in their room at the dormitory and cabinets and all seating areas, so guests will be able to use them in the best convenience and in order not to lose ones possessions.
3. All items which will remain in nearby buildings after the end Zman, are deemed to be abandoned, and the management of the yeshiva can make use as it sees fit. "
Behadrey haredim learned that besides financial obligations caused by the closure of the yeshiva - a real war for control of the yeshiva took place behind the scenes.
