Rabbi Leibeleh senior chassid cried Rebbe Rebbe, and handed the first kvittel to the new Rebbe

The funeral procession of the Seret Viznitzer Rebbe zt"l ended in Bnei Brak, together with the crowning of his only son Rabbi Yaakov Hagar who continues the glorious dynasty of Seret Viznitz Rebbes.

As is customary in Vizhnitz there is no official coronation during the funeral, as there is no eulogies - but the most senior chassid hands the Rebbe a kvittel to pray for him, and is the one who crowns the new Rebbe.

After burial at the tent of Viznitz Admorim in the Beis Hachaimk Shomrei Shabbos - Zichron Meir in Bnei Brak, Rabbi Leibele Kostiner one of the senior Chassidim cried out "Rebbe, Rebbe" and handed the first kvittel to the only son of the Rebbe zt"l.

The Rebbe read the kvittel and then the chassidim lined up in two rows and the Rebbe passed and received first comfort. Then he went to Haifa to sit shiva.

The new Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Hager, 60 so far carried the title of Av Beis Din Viznitz and was named the "Rav" by the majaority of Chassidim. In recent years, he took the place of his father, in visits to the chassidim and Kiddushin arrangements.

Now he will continue the Seret Viznitz legacy and will continue to consolidate and strengthen institutions all over the country and the world.
