Thousands of chassidim are expected to participate today (Wednesday) afternoon at the funeral procession of the Seret Viznitzer Rebbe of blessed memory who passed away suddenly yesterday evening at his home in Ramat Viznitz Haifa, to the sorrow of his Chassidim, at the age of 91 at his death.
The funeral procession will leave today at 17:00 from the Great Beit Midrash in Haifa, to where his bed was brought tonight.
Funeral will emerge from Bnei Brak. It will continue from the Beit Midrash on 32 Hazon Ish Street to the Beit Hachaim Shomrei Shabbos of Viznitz Admorim where he will be buried, on the last row alongside his grandfather the Ahvas Yisrael of Vizhnitz zt"l and his father the Makor Baruch zt"l.
The only son of the Rebbe, of blessed memory – Rabbi Yaakov Hager who will be coronated as Rebbe following the burial as successor of the Seret Viznitz dynasty will land at Ben Gurion Airport today at 14:30 after spending the last few days in Switzerland.
He missed the flight which left to Israel last night from Switzerland at 9:30.
At the Beit Midrash in Haifa, the Chassidim weep around the bed.
The Chassidim are sitting on the floor crying, reciting tehillim and find it difficult to separate from their Rebbe.
