61.4% of the vote voted 'no', compared to only 38.6% who voted "yes" to the plan of EU aid.
Due to the results, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande decided to convene an emergency meeting of eurozone heads of state.
The same German government spokesman said, in the opinion of the heads of state, there is no respect for referendum results.
