Mystery: Did Hgr"e Berland leave the Netherlands?

Conflicting reports on the media networks on the question of the location of the leader of Shuvu Banim, Hgr"e Berland, who was recently in the Netherlands.

The reports come since Friday - after the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in Holland that Rabbi Berland 77-year-old would be extradited to Israel, but the final decision has not been received, since the one who will determine when the Rabbi will be extradited, is the Minister of Justice and the country's defense, Erd Van der Store.

Various reports say the rabbi left the land of the Netherlands to an unknown destination. Other sources say that he and his associates do not answer their Dutch number held in their possession since the end of the week.

On the other hand, Rabbi Berland's drive in the Netherlands, Rabbi Sheetrit, said in an interview on Friday afternoon to the Shuvu Banim information line, that the rabbi is within the Netherlands for a few days rest, and tomorrow will come to his followers in the country. This is despite reports that on Friday night the rabbi was hospitalized.

Also the media man Manny Kraus, proponent of Shuvu Banim and a close associate of the Rabbi, wrote on his Facebook page "Goodbye Europe", as he confirms the rumors.

The Justice Ministry told behadrey haredim, that they still do not know anything about this issue.

Rabbi's lawyer, attorney Sharon Nahari, said to behadrey haredim last week that if it is decided to extradite him to Israel as official requirements in the country, "We'll turn to the Criminal Court in The Hague, in order to avoid extradition." Nahari refused to publish at this stage reasons for the appeal.

The court in Amsterdam has held several times discussions on the extradition request of the State of Israel against Rabbi Berland, leader of Shuvu Banim. His lawyers appealed the earlier decision to extradite him since the offenses attributed to him claim, took place in the city of Beitar Illit, beyond the Green Line. Today the court accepted the request.

The International Department of the Prosecutor's Office said to behadrey haredim, that it has not yet received official notification concerning extradition by the government of the Netherlands. After the extradition process, the rabbi will be investigated by the Israeli police and the criminal process will begin indictment.

Either way more and more reports verify that the rabbi was not found in the Netherlands suburbs.
