Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today (Friday) following a decision by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations: "The Human Rights Council of the United Nations is not really interested in facts and human rights.
"The day fire was opened into Israel from Sinai, and in Egypt during ISIS carries out cruel terrorist attacks, in Syria, Assad is massacring his own people and Iran's rising expenditures from year to year the number of arbitrary executions - Human Rights Council of the United Nations decides to condemn the State of Israel through no fault of her hand, the State of Israel acted to defend itself against a murderous terrorist organization.
"Israel is the only stable democracy in the Middle East, taking care to ensure equal rights for all its citizens and acts in accordance with international law. One who fears to attack terrorists clearly, in the end terror will attack him.
"A Council which today adopted more resolutions against Israel than the total against the decisions taken by other countries cannot call itself a human rights council. The State of Israel will continue to defend its citizens from those who call for the destruction and work every day to achieve this."
