By a rare, tableware used by te Lubavitcher Rebbe zt"l and his wife at their are being exposed these days.

To mark the 21 years since the Rebbe's passing, rare items related to the Chabad Chassidus are being displayed in Jerusalem. Among the exhibits, a silver spoon used by the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin, first print Tanya articles and manuscripts of Baal Tanya - both o the life of this world of the founder of Hasidism, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi zt"l. The items are being presented in the auction house 'Kedem', towards bringing them up for auction in two and a half weeks.

Tableware of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin include: a silver spoon with engraving of the letter S in English at the end, symbolizing the last name of the Rebbe, "Schneersohn," luxurious silver platter with the stamping MS in the center, symbolizing the name of the Rebbetzin "Mushka Schneerson," napkin table cloth, tools alum, and silver, and napkin holder. Over the years, the relevant tools were given by the Rebbetzin to her best friend who lived in Crown Heights, and then rolled to the auction house. Total opening prices of the sales tools will be approximately 74,000 NIS."

These tools are part of an entire chapter devoted to the catalog of the auction house 'Kedem' - the world's largest Judaica - Chabad. Other items included in this chapter are: Tanya first printed in Slavita from Tkn"o-Tkn"z (1796); handwriting of articles in his lifetime Tka"g (1802); The first print of a painting of the Tzemach Tzedek (1886), Vilnius; letter of the previous Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak of Lubavitch t"l last year of his life this world with this year's special signature which Yud Assyrian implied Yud Shvat date of his death; the same time even selling books with the Rebbe's signatures, letters, dollars and more.

Avishai Glar, owner of the auction house 'Kedem', notes that "This is not the first time we show the public items related to Chabad, however, there is no doubt that this time exceptional items as landmarks that attract attention to the Chabad community all over the world ".
