President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held yesterday (Wednesday) a special reception for dozens of religious leaders currently participating in the World Congress of Religious leaders in the capital, Astana.
The Rishon Lezion, Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef, spoke to the President who pointed out to him that his speech about the need for all parties to step back three steps for peace, as they do at the end of Amidah, impressed him. Hgr"y on his part, thanked the President for his friendship with Israel and blessed him.
