Lakewood yeshiva Tragedy: On Friday afternoon the avrech Chaim Rosenberg (36) arrived at the yeshiva study as usual. Suddenly he felt unwell and collapsed.
Rescue volunteers were called to the scene and took him in stable condition to a local hospital, where his condition deteriorated, and he died.
The news of the sudden death shocked his colleagues at the yeshiva who had just seen him, and his colleagues at the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, where Rosenberg studied before he came to Lakewood.
Lakewood Yeshiva member said on Friday: "There is no one who didn’t love Chaim, how can you not love a man like him, he was pure, kind, with a kindness and welcoming to everyone."
Lakewood friends said that this is a special man with special traits; he always liked to help others and never missed even a friend's wedding. Only last Wednesday he danced at the wedding of a friend from the yeshiva", yeshiva friends told.
His chavrusa eulogized Rosenberg, describing him as a man who kept to the timetables, God-fearing man, who pursued diligently on the study of the Torah, a degree of special indulgence particularly careful in preserving his speech.
The funeral will take place tomorrow (Sunday) at Lakewood Beit Midrash High.
