Scandal: Israeli police decided to close the investigation of Chardakim soldiers on the grounds of "no criminal culpability".
Two weeks after the complaints were filed by wives of ultra-Orthodox soldiers, against advertising part of a Chardakim campaign - Israeli police decided to close the file on the grounds of "No Criminal Culpability".
On 05.17.2015 5 complaints were submitted to Petah Tikva police for incitement through prohibited advertising.
The complaints were filed following pamphlet propaganda distributed in haredi areas under the heading "destroyed". A booklet featuring photos and personal details of haredi soldiers serving in the IDF.
Despite the violence accompanying campaign of incitement Israeli police decided to close the case.
Soldiers' families were outraged. The wife of a soldier who was among the complainants said to behadrey haredim: "Do not we have seen so far that these reports were made a violent physical attack by orthodox soldiers? Is not enough to be considered as incitement? Why did the police not submit the results of the State Attorney's Office will decide whether it has a practical 'incitement ', just as is the case in acts of' price tag '?, how police intend to fulfill its duty to protect these soldiers - ?, this way we were like no man's land ".
The police response has not been received. When it is received, it will be published.
