Prominent Erloy chassid: Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Ehrenfeld zt"l

Baruch Dayan Haemes: In Bnei Brak died today (Sunday) afternoon after a long illness Harav Shalom Tzvi Ehrenfeld, of blessed memory, important Erloy chassid at the age of 67 at his death.

For a long time he suffered severe anguish and bitter illness, and prayer congregations were held in his home.

He was born in Czechoslovakia on 29th of Tishri תש"ח, to his father Rabbi Yisrael Shmuel Ehrenfeld z"l.

He was known as a great scholar, and for decades gave classes at Erloy Beit Midrash in Bnei Brak. He was linked to the Erloy Rebbe with all his heart and soul.

Acquaintances talk about a God-fearing Jew, who would arrive every morning at 5:00 in the morning already to study Chassidus in Bnei Brak and start the day with learning and prayer, and sat all day and learned Torah.

He left a large family of nine children. One of his children is Rabbi Menachem Mendel Ehrenfeld Dom"z Erloy in Haifa.

The funeral will leave the Erloy Beit Midrash on Mahrshal Street in Bnei Brak at 19:00, towards the cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
