Rab"d: Earthquake in Nepal because of the sin of sexual - God is angry

Rab"d discussed last night (Wednesday) at his weekly sermon, the earthquake in Nepal. "This week we heard that in a distant country, Nepal, there was an earthquake," he said, "many found their deaths, thousands of people, women and children were killed by a strange death, and perhaps already people are beginning to fear an earthquake will also come to Israel".

Rab"d added, "know that whatever God does in distant lands, the purpose of it is to inspire the people of Israel, and if so, we should we put our hearts, and think about what God has done this in this distant land."

At this point Rab"d opened a Midrash in Tehillim and read out the words of the Midrash on the verse, "and the earth will churn" - "for the crime of incest and immorality. Remember God is angry and the earth will shake and the mountains will smoke".

Rab"d said, "According to the study, it is worth seeing a kind of earthquake warning from heaven to operate and do not prevent the desecration of God in the proliferation of this transgression. Indeed, God in His great mercy did not bring us the punishment on us, but in order not to forget the notion that there is a terrible punishment of an earthquake on this transgression, God sent us a warning from a country far away to remember this penalty
