After 35 days of difficult negotiations, Kulanu party representatives signed this evening (Wednesday) on the first coalition agreement with the Likud as a senior partner in the next government.

Before signing, Kulanu chairman Moshe Kahlon met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Jerusalem office. They discussed recent points ahead of the signing of the agreement on which they are expected to work together, and then came to the Knesset and signed the agreement.

Kulanu party received under the coalition agreement with the Likud the Ministry of Finance and Planning Manager for Moshe Kahlon, the Ministry of Housing for MK Yoav Galant and the Ministry of Environment. And also Deputy Minister of the Ministry which has not yet been decided what will be, and chair of the Labor and Welfare Committee.

Kahlon will also serve as a member of the diplomatic security cabinet, while Yoav Galant will be an observer in the cabinet without the right to vote - after the prime minister's opposition.

In the coalition agreement with Kulanu, which includes 70 sections, many sections are in housing. Under the agreement, a committee will be established to promote housing reforms. But it is unclear if it will be parallel to the Finance Committee, and which powers will be in her hands.
