Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, a young man approached a Paz Gaz station to refuel his vehicle on Bethlehem Road. It is suspected that a young woman asked him for a cigarette, when he refused she pulled out a lighter and lit the gas pump, whilst it was refilling the vehicle.
The vehicle owner pulled the burned fuel pump and fled the scene. The station workers put out the fire.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident by Moriah police. At the investigation she denied. Today at 12:00 she was brought before the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court to extend the remand until May 3, and was ordered a psychiatric examination.
