Mohammed Deif, head of Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip, escaped an Israeli attempt to assassinate him in the operation "Preventive Edge" and returned to work, according to Israeli estimates.
According to reports, Deif is currently operating to prepare the organization for a second round against Israel and to get close to Iran to receive money and weapons.
Hamas reportedly is digging new tunnels, using cement originating from Israel and is engaged in the generation of rockets for ranges up to 150 kilometers.
So too, the military wing of Hamas planned to abduct the large kibbutz of Kerem Shalom, during operation Preventive Edge.
According to the report, Hamas trained dozens of terrorists who intended to infiltrate Israel and carry out a great attack and to negotiate the release of prisoners. But Hamas's political wing did not allow the move.
