Satmar Rebbe eulogized Hagaon Harav Vosner zt"l at his Chol Hamoed drosha and noted he had never participated in the elections and did not go to the Western Wall.

As on every year, the conference of the union of avreichim was held during Chol Hamoed at the Great Beis Midrash of Satmar, attended by all the rabbis and community dayanim, led by members of Badatz of Satmar, where the Rebbe gives the main speech and arouses the Hasidim about things that need strengthening and repair.

After speaking about the sugia, the Satmar Rebbe began to speak words of awakening, saying that one does not eulogize on the Yom Tov but one must mention the passing of Rabbi Shmuel Vosner zt"l.

The Rebbe continued, "Harav Vosner told me that the Rebbe zy"a (the Vayoel Moshe M.W.) gave him his book the Vayoel Moshe to go over and comment on it. He also followed in views of the Rebbe on matters of faith and one must mention that he never signed the announcement to go and vote, and he himself did not vote. In addition he did not go to the Kosel after the ban of the Rebbe zy"a".

Later the Rebbe said, "We have a duty to repair our actions, in particular with the use of technological tools. We founded the organization "Meshumar" to filter tools. In recent days, the organization's Williamsburg branch has moved to a large, new place, as well as new branches which were opened in Boro Park and Kiryat Yoel. In the filter system itself, hundreds of thousands of dollars were invested to upgrade the system to the benefit of all.
