The passing of Rabbi Chaim Shaul Grenimann zt"l on the last day of Pesach, shocked the entire Orthodox Jewry. Already in the middle of Yom Tov news spread around the city of Bnei Brak and on Saturday night all over the country.

This morning (Sunday) the funeral procession will leave at 11:00am from his Beis Midrash plaza on Chidushei Harim Street corner Devorah Hanevia in Bnei Brak.

The funeral procession was postponed to the morning after drawing conclusions from the funeral procession of Hagaon Harav Vosner zt"l, with lack of proper organization – which ended with the tragic passing of two people who were killed as a result of crowdedness.

Harav Chaim Greinemann's death bed will be brought into the room under his Beis Midrash - where the tahara will be held in the private mikveh of R' Chaim zt"l.

According to the will of Rabbi Chaim zt"l, one should not place the bed in the Beis Midrash and not announce the funeral by loudspeaker in Bnei Brak.

During the funeral he will probably be eulogized by Hagaon R' Dovid Landau Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka, his brother and one of his sons.

Hagaon Rabbi Chaim zt"l will be interred next to the grave of his uncle the Chazon Ish zt"l in the Shomrei Shabbos - Zichron Meir cemetery. This evening the grave was already dug and even part of the tomb of the Chazon Ish which was double – was removed in order to free up room for R' Chaim's burial.

Below are the traffic updates for the funeral:
From 10:00 am the following axes will be blocked:
- Ezra Street along its entire length.
- Chazon Ish Street (between Rav Dessler to Yerushalayim Boulevard).
- Nehemiah Street throughout.
Also, from 08:00 am until the beginning of the funeral, the road leading up from Devorah Hanevia to Chidushei Harim Street will be blocked.

- Coming from the north - one should go through Geha intersection towards Hashomer Street and go down Ezra Street.

For those coming from the South and Jerusalem – one should come through the Aluf Sadeh / Givat Shmuel Bridge intersection.

The buses will collect participants at the end of the funeral according to the following:
Buses to the north – will wait on Ezra Street.
Buses to the south – will wait on Yerushalayim blvd. in Ramat Gan.
Buses to Jerusalem – will park on Chazon Ish Street between the streets of Nehemiah and Ezra.

Dan Region Police clarifies that there will be no access to private vehicles to the funeral area.

In addition, participants must obey the instructions of the organizers and maintain order for the safety of participants in the funeral.
