Shas party representatives arrived at noon (Sunday) to the President's Residence in Jerusalem, to recommend to the president Reuven Rivlin to cast the formation of the government on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The delegation from Shas Knesset members participated Yitzhak Cohen, Yaakov Margi, David Azoulay, Meshulam Nahari and CEO Chaim Biton.
Cohen said to Rivlin: "Throughout the campaign we announced we'll recommend Netanyahu as candidate and we recommend Netanyahu. We join your concern on challenges on all fronts. Even Netanyahu knows our conditions are agreed to join our socio economic program. Even the obvious should be said."
President Rivlin asked Cohen: "Would you like me to invite you on Wednesday again to confirm your recommendations?"
Cohen replied diplomatically: "We want to place the formation of the government on Netanyahu. We are always happy to come to you"...
Finally President Rivlin said: "As a Jerusalemite whom mathematics was not one of his best subjects, currently 45 members of the Knesset recommend Netanyahu and 24 so far indicated Herzog."
