Herzog: "The opposition is the only realistic option"

After the stinging defeat yesterday with the publication of the true election results 2015 - (Wednesday) the first meeting of faction leaders of the 'Zionist camp' was held by Yitzchak Herzog and Tzipi Livni, where the party chairman Herzog said - we face opposition.

Herzog: "I am proud of the fight we fought. We will be a worthy and true substitute in all areas and all matters of a right government that her time is not long. Opposition is the only realistic option that stands before us."

Herzog added: "We lift our head to a reality today which will continue to lead a big and strong camp that wants a Jewish, democratic, safe and just society. We will not apologize and not deduct flags but we serve the people out into the streets, intersections and to the polls with great hope and strength."

Livni added: 'I got up this morning feeling bad - this is not our way but theirs. With a great mission and pride we connected to a true partnership – I found in Herzog a courageous leader who loves the people of Israel. The battle is not over yet, there are two ways of different values.

"One way is that of Netanyahu and his partners and the second is our own and our natural partners. We must set a different way in front of the road that does not see the citizens - against the way in which social justice is not connected to the soul. Our way - we will continue to represent. The hope - is not lost.
