Netanyahu in Congress
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened this morning (Sunday) the weekly cabinet meeting and addressed the Iranian issue because of which he left last week to address the United States Congress.
"After my speech in Congress, we heard over the weekend from several foreign ministers of the powers they do not see a necessity to reach an agreement as soon as possible, and that they will wait until an appropriate agreement is found. I hope these things will be reflected in practice.
"A true agreement is one that will link the removal of the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program and the cessation of Iran's terrorist activities around the world and of course its threats to destroy Israel. A true agreement is such that will extend the time for Iran to achieve a breakthrough of a bomb, with a feasibility of breaking the agreement.
"Right now the apparent deal between Iran and the great powers would enable Iran a time break of a year and less. It is the based assessment of intelligence and professional bodies of the State of Israel, these factors gave the powers this assessment.
"We will continue to act in any way to prevent the world's biggest terrorist state the ability to produce the world's most dangerous weapons, weapons directed primarily towards us," Netanyahu said.
