Shas leader Aryeh Deri, hinted tonight (Tuesday) on the party's support for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, although he continued attacking him sharply.
In his speech at an election rally for Shas at the Yad Eliyahu stadium in Tel Aviv, Shas chairman hinted at his movement's support for the prime minister, but did not say so explicitly.
"We are with you Binyamin Netanyahu," he said, "our public and your public are brothers. We want you as prime minister, but we want you Bibi-Begin not Bibi-Lapid".
Deri added: "We wish the prime minister who traveled to the USA to represent us against the evil Haman of today, great success. Just do not forget the Jews of Israel, who for two years you harmed."
Deri attacked Yair Lapid and said: "What is your racism, why did you say I needed to rehabilitate."
