בעקבות התיעודים בהם נראים שוטרים משתמשים באלימות כלפי המוחים החרדים שהגיעו היום מחוץ ללשכת הגיוס בירושלים, במחאה על צווי גיוס שניתנו לבחורי ישיבות, זימן מ״מ מפכ״ל המשטרה ניצב, אבשלום פלד, את מ״מ מפקד מחוז ירושלים, תנ״צ אמיר ארזני לבירור.

המשטרה מסרה כי ארזני זומן ל"בירור ובחינה של מכלול האירועים ואופן הטיפול בהם". ההפגנה נערכה לאחר שצה"ל זימן להיום עשרות בני ישיבות לצו ראשון בלשכת הגיוס בירושלים.

גם 'העדה החרדית' הצטרפה להפגנות לאחר שבועות ארוכים בהם 'הפלג הירושלמי' הוביל את ההפגנות מול לשכות הגיוס.
"עקב המשך ניסיונות הצבא לגייס בכפייה בחורים חרדיים לצבא השמד, כאשר לראשונה מאז קום המדינה שולחת המדינה צווי גיוס ללא יכולת ערעור ודיחוי, ובכוונתה להביא גם מחר ללשכת הגיוס בירושלים בעל כורחם בחורי חמד יקרים מקבלי הצווים בניגוד לאמונתם", נכתב אתמול בקריאה מצד מארגני ההפגנה.
