יחידת הרפאים (הרב-ממדית) השלימה מבצע חטיבתי, במסגרתו, הלוחמים ביצעו פשיטה ממוקדת על אוניברסיטה ששימשה כמפקדה של ארגון הטרור חמאס, ממנה בוצע ירי לעבר כוחות צה"ל. הכוחות איתרו אמצעי לחימה וחביות נפץ במתחם האוניברסיטה. כמו כן, הלוחמים חיסלו מחבל שירה לעברם טיל RPG ממבנה במרחב.
