Emerging: Hgr"e Halperin transferred from London to Israel

Will Rabbi Elchanan Halpern, Av Beit Din of Golders Green in London and one of the greatest European Rabbis elders, who was in the Royal Free Hospital in England for more than a week after suffering from kidney problems, be flown to Israel for further medical treatment?

After his condition deteriorated he underwent complicated and difficult treatment at hospital, despite the fear of doctors, it was a success. Consultation was held whether to continue treatment in Israel.

After his sons consulted with a number of large Hasidic leaders, they decided they must bring Hgr"e Halperin to Israel, especially as the doctors assured that there is no immediate real danger in flying to Israel.

A special doctor was flown from Israel to decide finally on the subject, and probably if there are no last minute changes tonight (Sunday) he will be flown to Israel.

The public was asked to continue to pray for Rabbi Elchanan Ben Mindel for a speedy and complete recovery amongst the rest of the patients of Israel.
