Fatal accident in Baltimore: Rabbi David Winiarz z"l, an activist and a righteous person was killed today (Sunday) in a fatal collision.

The Rabbi joined another two on their way to kiruv operations. Following the bad weather the car slid on the road and the Rabbi was killed instantly.

An initial police investigation shows that the vehicle slid and collided with another vehicle locally. Rabbi David Winiarz, a resident of Staten Island - was killed and two other passengers who were with him were injured to varying degrees.

Rabbi age 49, survived by his wife and ten orphans, seven of which have not yet married.

The accident occurred on Route 23 High Point Hartford Maryland. The other passengers were residents of New Jersey, were injured and taken to hospitals in the region.

Hours before the accident, Rabbi David posted a video which shows his son and his friend learning in shul. He also wrote "Before I leave on my road trip, I came to learn Torah with my son and his friend."
